Hello New Friend!

I am a Mother of 3, Grandmother of 4 and married to the Love of My Life! In 1997, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - with an Accounting Concentration. I started working in Account Payable but over the years and climbing the corporate ladder, I was promoted to Controller & HR Manager. Alongside my day career, I also owned & managed several smaller home businesses. In 2019 I quit my day job to work from home. I was grateful to be home when the pandemic hit in March of 2020. What a ride the last few years have been.

Meanwhile, I had been pondering over the thought of getting a Freeze-Dryer for about 2 years! Now that I was my own boss, I had the freedom to move forward! The main initial reason to get one - was NOT to start a business - but to preserve healthy foods & have shelf-stable snacks for our family! Over the prior 10 years, I had experienced migraines, painful joints, itchy skin, tummy troubles, and fatigue (the list is probably longer but you get the point). After spending years trying to figure out the cause, I had an "aha" moment and discovered it was the preservatives and many added chemicals in the foods!

Fast forward to July 2020, we were freeze-drying all kinds of foods! It became an addiction to see what would freeze dry & store well! Before I knew it, I was being ASKED to make things for others! Well - wait a minute! I realized there was a HUGE demand for it! (despite still being in "lock-down"). By November of 2020, I launched "Freeze-Dried Foodies"! I was focused on Fruits - but here came the requests for Freeze-Dried Candy! Ok - so it's not the healthiest, but I won't be the "police" of what someone wants to buy! If I can help provide a fun gift, or satisfy someone's sweet tooth craving, GREAT! It was a whirlwind from there for the rest of that holiday season! We had a customer pick-up box and scheduled local pick-ups! It worked very well for everyone! When things opened back up, I was out the door and doing Craft & Vendor shows.

Since the beginning, we continue to innovate & create! So much has been learned & I'd LOVE to share that with you! I'd love to help YOU create & manage your own business!
